The PTCRB certification ensures that GSM/W-CDMA devices of the Kontron KM2M800 family conforming to the technical specifications of the NAPRD (North American permanent reference document) are and thus meet the requirements of the operators for safe operation. The PTCRB is a global organization with the purpose to implement independent, technical and standards-based evaluation processes for the certification of GSM/UMTS devices.
